Getting Around

From The Convention Center

Most of what's on this page is within a walk or one streetcar ride of the hall. Tours that leave the city collect you nearby.

On Foot

The Warehouse and Arts District, the National WWII Museum and the Riverwalk are a few blocks away. Canal Street is about 20 minutes on foot along the river, and Jackson Square about 30.

By Streetcar

The Riverfront line stops outside the Convention Center and runs to the French Market. Pick up the St. Charles line at Canal Street for the Garden District and Uptown.

Pickup Tours

Plantation and city bus tours collect you from a stop near the hall, and the swamp tour offers pickup as an add-on. Choose a pickup in the booking sheet — it lists the closest ones first.
